Blown ’63 Impala Is All Metal, All Muscle, and All Winner!
Now this one is for the books folks.
This is a 1963 Impala and this insanely powerful dragster has an 540ci engine and on top of that humongous engine there is a very big Whipple screw blower that kicks big gulps of air and alcohol into the intake manifold in order to feed the 2000 horsepower that this thing produces. Known as the “Gudfar” which apparently is how the Norwegians call their godfathers, this thing is not the best at transferring all that power to the asphalt so you can see it slide buck and kick its way to the finish line, making it one awesome sight at the track, check it out.
