Don’t Mix Coke with Liquid Nitrogen!
A few years back as YouTube was establishing itself as the leader in the video segment of the internet, somebody showed us that if you drop a few Mentos in a bottle of Diet Coke, you get an extremely violent chemical reaction whose power can be harnessed or released just as your imagination will tell you to do it. So, all of a sudden, the internet was flooded with the most creative ideas on how to play with this phenomenon.
Now the new cool thing to mix with other liquids seem to be the liquid nitrogen which we all know will result in pretty violent reactions.
Once again, the video comes to us from the well-known heavily accented host of the video channel CrazyRussianHacker, and today he decided to pour liquid nitrogen in the half-empty 2-liter bottle of Coca Cola. The first instant aside from some smoke it appears that nothing happens but then he decides to flip it, and that’s when the bottle decided to turn into a missile shooting up at insane speeds.
The second experiment is done with water instead of Coke and it turns out this is no lesser way to turn the bottle into a rocket either.
