Russian Flying Fortresses – UNBELIEVABLE Aircraft Looks Like Spaceship!
When it comes to aircraft, in Russia they go crazy big, the proof of that is of course the Antonov AN-225 “Mriya” holding the world records for an airlifted single item payload of 418,834 lbs and also the record for an airlifted total payload 559,577 lbs. This giant has a distant relative, one that age wise is closer to a grandfather named the K-7. Weather it ever made it into the air we cannot tell but it sure looks like it has enough propellers to provide lift. However those cannons on the top look like they pack enough recoil to shred the aircraft frame in half. Some say this thing flew for eleven times but it crashed on the twelfth one but one thing is for sure this thing looked scary.
