Mini Kenworth – Small Truck, Big Dreams!

Building a special one of a kind 29 foot scaled down copy of a Kenworth W900L tanker is a good thing. Doing it in order to raise money for kids with cancer is awesome. Behind this great achievement is Mr. Jacques Auger who is actually the owner of Transport Jacques Auger. This idea started in order to show support to one of the employees who tragically lost his son to leukemia.
A few friends and sponsors jumped in on this novel build wanting to give as much help as they can since the whole project was planned to contribute all the founds that have been made to the Leucan Foundation. And contribute they did, so far after many appearances amongst which is the parade in Laurier Station in Quebec this little wonder has managed to raise more than $260,000. Behind the build is one of Jacques closest friends Donald Gingras who with the assistance of a few subcontractors build this awesome machine for around $130,000. The fabrication of this Mini Kenworth W900L which is about 1:2.2 scale took more than 2,600 man hours. Powered by a Cummins three-cylinder diesel engine that was taken out of a generator and boosted by additional turbo charger, this mighty mini-semi is driven by a 5 speed Ford Ranger gearbox and thru differentials that originate from a Suzuki Jeep. These days you can get this crowd pleaser to appear at your event and it will defenetely peak the interests of kid as well as adults. A real Kenworth W900L will bring it to the party and also make sure the little one gets home safe. Check out the video of one of the coolest vehicle build for a great cause.
